I just don't understand how people can be so disrespectful....I'll start with something that happened to me a few days ago.
I had a friend who wanted to go on a trip with me to a casino. More his idea than mine...
I said no problem but the catch was I had to get the room...I am a diamond member for people that know about total rewards.So I agreed on getting the room, went down to the casino for about 8 to 10 hours worth of play, not straight play cause I did stop and eat a couple of times.But long story short about 11 pm I decide I'm going to call it a night and go to bed.
I get to the room and my friend is still playing (I'm guessing because he's not in the room )
I go to sleep about 15 mins after getting into the room.
Then about an hour later my friend comes in the room turns on the light and decides to eat some chicken fingers he bought at johnny rockets.Then he starts to read a book that he brought with him...I said" come on man what the hell?"
His response was "I'm hungry and am gonna eat my chicken fingers"
I asked him "Can't you tell I'm sleeping?"
He says "Yeah but I didn't eat all day and I need to eat something"
I say "Okay why couldn't you eat in the food court?"
He says "I wanted to get up to the room so I could relax"
Really?
The only reason I'm going on about this is I just got woke up by my wife phone being texted....you know some people have jobs and lives....unless its an emergency .... a little respect people.
I guess what I'm wondering what ever happened to respect?
When I was growing up that phone better not ring after 9 o'clock...guess I'm becoming old fashioned.
I agree with the phone thing, but I'm still trying to hold on my my curmudgeon self there a bit.
ReplyDeleteI think people should not call after a certain time and not before as well.
Also, with the fact that everyone has cell phones people now Expect you to answer any damned time they call you.
If I don't answer it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you. I might just be driving my damned car and not wanting to answer because it's now against the law!
I might also be engaged in a different activity and will get back to you at my own bloody convenience - so deal with it and stop sending me texts asking why the hell I didn't answer and am ignoring you.
You hit it right on the head....I get fussed at all the time because I don't answer right away.I might just be busy doing something,imagine that!Or have you ever heard Where have you been hiding at?,you didnt answer your phone.
