I was at a game the other night and I witnessed something that I couldn't believe. I'll get right to the point....What is poker etiquette when it comes to leaving a poker game (cash)?(and a home game)
The fella said he was leaving in 20 mins (0000 hours) and he was ahead about 200 dollars. The other fella who was down about 500 dollars says in a loud threatening voice "That's Bullshit!"
What? Why? Huh?
I cannot find anything about etiquette about leaving a cash game but cashing out on part of your stack.
Then as I started thinking on it, what the loser was trying to do was to get this person to stay...but was it right to call him out and try to get others to be pissy with him?
Nah I didn't think so...
So...I spoke up and asked him what the hell his problem was with him leaving early...He replied "none of your fucking business"
Not a good way to respond on his part.
I said well it is now since you cussed me....
Then I let loose...told him he was mad because he lost all his money and was to now having to borrow money....and if he didn't play like a loose donkey playing every hand and trying to push every hand then he probably wouldn't be so far in the hole....
needless to say he didn't talk more the rest of the night
Anybody know whats right here?
